    60mm clear ghost

Posted by Ty on Apr 13th 2018

Honestly thought these wheels were just hype but after 2 weeks I have come to the conclusion these wheels are awesome! So much that I'm going to purchase the 70mm to see if they are truly better like many customers explain here.

I like them but I Love the 70mm best

One plus side of the 60mm set is that they break into a slide easily. One downside is that they can break into a slide when you're carving hard, rather than grip the road. 60mm wheels are fine But... if you want the smoothest wheels for large cracks and rough asphalt then I suggest buying the 70mm. My older kids and wife have the larger wheels and I can feel the difference. If your main goal is sliding, then these are a Great choice. Pretty smooth and recover from the slide easily. They cruise normal terrain fantastically. Shark-Wheel Commander Breetai

    We're a shark-wheel family now!

Real customer here, some of the reviews have suspiciously similar dates and short statements but I assure you I'm a real believer.
I bought the 60 mil ghost formula for myself and now we all have a set!
After we tried the first ones, everyone agreed, these are the wheels for us.
I only gave the 60 mills 4 stars because the 70 mm wheels are even better.
BUT... I still love the 60's , my 9 year old daughter and I both have some.
Confident carving, smooth over bumpy roads and super fast with a feeling like there's no resistance.
Sign up for the email discounts to make them more reasonable, but definitely get a set!

Good on sidewalks. Nice for cruising and carving.

Good on the sidewalks near me, which can get a little choppy. I am a fan of these.

    Works well

Overall I'm not sure if there is much of a difference between these wheels and normal wheels. They do tend to be smoother and better over rough surfaces, but there isn't much of a difference that I can notice in any other factor. The waves in the wheels do actually spit debris to the side (ie. pesky sticks, gravel, etc.) which is a very nice feature. If nothing else they certainly look cool and for some people that is enough.

    60mm Clear

I usually run 65mm wheels so I bought the 60mm instead of the 70mm but they were too small for me

The width is increased, but the friction is decreased! The sine wave design provides three lips per wheel for superior lateral grip. When you want to slide, they break away smoothly and recover easily.

The wave pattern design allows for a thin contact patch touching the ground and therefore less friction, resulting in a quicker ride.

The alternating pattern of grooves significantly reduces hydroplaning by channeling liquid, sand or gravel out and away from the surface of the wheel, allowing for a firm contact patch with the ground.
