I commute to work on foot and I never walk without a skateboard. Helps me get there faster. These wheels are the best and make the ride a lot smoother over sidewalks with cracks, rough / pebbled concrete, and the seams on the Atlanta Beltline.
Great wheels. For perfect on my longboard. Fun to ride.
Bought for a Christmas present. My son said they are smooth on the street. The color looks cool with the deck. I was a little worried about receiving them before Christmas but, they arrived with time to spare. I would definitely recommend wheels and provider. Thanks
A wheel that can both grip well and slide is honestly a must have. I cruise down the main avenue of my town and all eyes are on these unique looking wheels. I would love if you guys made larger sizes like 80mm or 90, it would really make the wheel more sustainable to cracks or pebbles in sidewalks or roads.
Amazing. Can easily go over bumps, cracks, any type of surface for a smooth ride.
These wheels are awesome! I have not tried them on cobblestone or dirt paths yet, but my street isnt the smoothest in the world and there is a huge difference between these wheels and my regular 54mm skate wheels. These are super smooth! Highly recommended!
These wheels are awesome! I been riding them for almost 7 months now. I had them on my penny board and they are doing a great job by going over some rocky rode and cracks.
Yes! I bought 3 sets for three different skateboards. That how much I love them!
These wheels make an unbelievable difference. I can go double the distance per single push. These wheels make rough asphalt feel buttery smooth. When going over surfaces with cracks (sidewalks, bricks) you usually lose momentum as soon as you push, requiring a lot more effort...not with shark wheels. Cracks don't cause you to lose momentum whatsoever...in fact, call me crazy, but I feel like the cracks somehow increase momentum and propel me forward. Bottom line is, these are not a gimmick. These are not a joke. These are worth every penny and should not be an option, they should be the new standard for longboard wheels. Classic wheels should no longer be an option. These are not a weird new invention. These are an innovation. 'The wheel" version 2.0. Excellent product. Will be buying more for all my boards.
The width is increased, but the friction is decreased! The sine wave design provides three lips per wheel for superior lateral grip. When you want to slide, they break away smoothly and recover easily.
The wave pattern design allows for a thin contact patch touching the ground and therefore less friction, resulting in a quicker ride.
The alternating pattern of grooves significantly reduces hydroplaning by channeling liquid, sand or gravel out and away from the surface of the wheel, allowing for a firm contact patch with the ground.
