These wheels have changed the game with longboards. Going slow on a longboards was almost certain death when hitting a big crack or large rock. Not anymore! These wheels constantly seem to be gaining more traction because of the multi -contact points. Going over railroad tracks at any speed with these wheels is a breeze. Thank you shark wheels! You rock!
The best wheels for a longboard.
A great upgrade. Smoother and faster than the stock wheels that came with my board.
Get these if you want to go fast and smooth and sturdy. Its super safe also.
Listen up! If you are a longboarder and HATE hitting little balls and rocks and faceplanting these are the wheels for you. They are also incredibly efficient for a long distance longboarder. I longboard on flat surfaces in central florida, I think the efficiency comes from the amount of contact to the road surface. I am not saying this as hype, you will notice the difference the first time you use them. The ability to avoid debris comes from the simple fact that small items go up between the tread so the board keeps moving, you will feel a bump but it keeps moving without tossing you to the ground in pain. My local sk8 store just thought they were novel, NOPE they are a lifesaver. I just recently bought another set for a new board I picked up the stock wheels were nothing compared to these.
a lot smoother ride with a lot less vibration making it easier on your feet. very easy to turn and easy to go over rougher terrains. Make sure you add bearrings because they are not included.
They do everything claimed , these are truly game changing wheels.
I bought these for my 13-year-old grandson for his birthday. He put them on his longboard right away and loves them.
The width is increased, but the friction is decreased! The sine wave design provides three lips per wheel for superior lateral grip. When you want to slide, they break away smoothly and recover easily.
The wave pattern design allows for a thin contact patch touching the ground and therefore less friction, resulting in a quicker ride.
The alternating pattern of grooves significantly reduces hydroplaning by channeling liquid, sand or gravel out and away from the surface of the wheel, allowing for a firm contact patch with the ground.
