I live in Cordoba Argentina, a place full of pebbles, dust, broken streets, mud, broken glass and bad traffic. Since i bought this i have never crashed because of my wheels getting stuck on something. This wheels can kick pebbles, glass and even metallic rods meters away from your board and they let your ride in dirt, sand , small grass and really rough terrain where no longboard has ever been before.
Im extremely happy with this purchase and people love the way they look.
Shoots away rocks from the path
Since the 60mm California Rolls have been SO INCREDIBLE on my cruiser, not to mention have saved my butt several times, I didn’t think twice before ordering these 70mm for my new longboard!!! I RECOMMEND THESE WHEELS TO EVERYONE I COME ACROSS, IMO NO OTHER WHEELS EVEN COME CLOSE TO THESE!!!!
My son had broken one of his wheels on his skateboard. He asked if I would order these for him and he absolutely loves them. Great purchase.
grandson was very pleased with this Christmas gift
As promised!! Haven't hit a crack and felt it since!
Found some videos on youtube about these and they really do live up to the hype. Was skeptical at first but after skating with these for a couple weeks, I don't think I'll use any other wheels from now on.
Awesome wheels. Compared to my previous 76mm 78a conventional wheels they are way better. Carving the traction feels better. They break a little earlier in the turn but the break is gentle and progressive. Very confidence inspiring. Ability to roll over gravel is amazing. I dont even try to avoid little pebbles any more. Rolling speed is excellent.
The width is increased, but the friction is decreased! The sine wave design provides three lips per wheel for superior lateral grip. When you want to slide, they break away smoothly and recover easily.
The wave pattern design allows for a thin contact patch touching the ground and therefore less friction, resulting in a quicker ride.
The alternating pattern of grooves significantly reduces hydroplaning by channeling liquid, sand or gravel out and away from the surface of the wheel, allowing for a firm contact patch with the ground.
