I couldn't love these wheels any more, they are soft enough to grip the road better n allow more comtroll and rips through rough terrain like a Sharks through water!
Incredible improvement in my riding, no other wheel has come close to the smoothness of these wheels
They destroy the rain, ninja pebbles, and ride well on rough roads. The smoothness and control, even in the rain, can't be compared to any other conventional longboard wheel. Best wheels by far!
These are the coolest looking dopest wheels I’ve ever owned aside from the looks the performance is off the charts bomb loved them so much bought the makos for my pintail
I've had these wheels for about a year now and I can't complain. They are faster then any other wheel I've had and have the most grip too. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to cruise and even downhill skate.
First, I haven't had the wheels long enough to give them a fare performance review, but I can say a couple things. First, the wheels have a cool humming sound. There is less surface area in contact with the road and above 15 mph they get a little squirrley and feel like they want to drift. At slower speeds they do have a lot of grip and work great mounted on a carving board. I haven't had the opportunity to try them on wet pavement yet. I'm not sure I would make this purchase based on performance alone. Honestly, I bought these wheels for looks and for looks alone they're worth the coin. They look amazing! Congrats to the inventor! For looks and originality alone, I really like these wheels. Think about it, it's hard to find anything these days with some originality, much less a wheel. I have a Sectore 9 Striker ll sidewinder that I sanded and painted a dragonfly on. It's original and I wanted a cool set of wheels to finish it off. Very unique indeed. I think orange would look better, don't you? These wheels kick ____! :)
Everyone asks me how my board can roll with square wheels, and i laugh and say, "better than yours"
I have to say I'm impressed so far. The wheels really do work better. They roll faster and they make rough payment much smoother. I would say these are def for cruising only, but wow they handle just about everything you throw at them. I like to use my longboard to commute around town and I always run into rough roads and alleyways. These wheels seem to really smooth out rough patches and glide right over. If these wheels last they will be my go to from here on out. I love them so far.
The width is increased, but the friction is decreased! The sine wave design provides three lips per wheel for superior lateral grip. When you want to slide, they break away smoothly and recover easily.
The wave pattern design allows for a thin contact patch touching the ground and therefore less friction, resulting in a quicker ride.
The alternating pattern of grooves significantly reduces hydroplaning by channeling liquid, sand or gravel out and away from the surface of the wheel, allowing for a firm contact patch with the ground.
