1. Rough Terrain. The best wheel over rough terrain. The sine wave shape tends to kick pebbles and small objects out of the way. Also the best wheel over wet conditions. Scientifically proven by San Diego State University, Mechanical Engineering Department.
Bought these wheels when the company first started advertising them so I had to get them again! The only sad part is that they don’t look squared anymore so it made me kind of sad because that was the wow factor when people would look at my wheels :(.
This set of wheels performed exactly as described and the ABEC 9 bearing set and wheel combo work suprisingly well together plus no more pesky rocks. This is a great product and I am glad I finally tried them out.
Im am experienced in skating and these are the best cruising wheels for the price
I LOVE THEM AND IT LET ME RIDE ON THE STREETS THAT HAVE BUMPS (rocks) THAT ARE SMALL or in the side walk and i did not fell over on the bumps on the side walk or on the streets and its soo smooth and better then my penny wheels (mini cruiser wheels) and I WILL LOVE THEM FOREVER
Bought these shark wheels last week to have some grip but at the same time be able to slide. Worth every penny! I can ride when it's wet and not have to worry as much about the board slipping out and sliding with them is easy!
Wow they are a smooth ride
Super wild! Grips so well!
These wheels make an unbelievable difference. I can go double the distance per single push. These wheels make rough asphalt feel buttery smooth. When going over surfaces with cracks (sidewalks, bricks) you usually lose momentum as soon as you push, requiring a lot more effort...not with shark wheels. Cracks don't cause you to lose momentum whatsoever...in fact, call me crazy, but I feel like the cracks somehow increase momentum and propel me forward. Bottom line is, these are not a gimmick. These are not a joke. These are worth every penny and should not be an option, they should be the new standard for longboard wheels. Classic wheels should no longer be an option. These are not a weird new invention. These are an innovation. 'The wheel" version 2.0. Excellent product. Will be buying more for all my boards.
The width is increased, but the friction is decreased! The sine wave design provides three lips per wheel for superior lateral grip. When you want to slide, they break away smoothly and recover easily.
The wave pattern design allows for a thin contact patch touching the ground and therefore less friction, resulting in a quicker ride.
The alternating pattern of grooves significantly reduces hydroplaning by channeling liquid, sand or gravel out and away from the surface of the wheel, allowing for a firm contact patch with the ground.
