Material Handling Industry - Pallet Jack/Forklift

2020 Launch

Shark Wheel already has an issued patent for its general wheel invention, but has already filed a patent for this particular design in the material handling industry.

  • Longer Life: From 33% to 50%+ longevity advantages depending on various factors

  • Rough Terrain:  Ability to go over more obstacles and debris. The sine waves tend to push small objects out of the way left and right. A traditional steamroller wheel tends to go over objects causing failure points

  • Approach Angle:  Unique 30-degree approach angle reduces shock, much like driving in a car over a speed bump at an angle

  • Heat Dissipation: Shark Wheels have more surface area to more effectively dissipate heat buildup. Shark Wheels run cooler and last longer on Class II and Class III trucks, as well as other trucks in the material handling industry

  • Less Shock to Operator: Approach angle lessens shock to operator and machine. Better experience for operators reported and less shock to loads carried on machine

  • Less Charging:  Up to 60% less friction touching the ground results in less charging and less downtime

Shark Wheel will sell into Classes 1-5 of the material handling industry:

  • Class I: Electric Motor Rider Trucks

  • Class II: Electric Motor Narrow Aisle Trucks

  • Class III: Electric Motor Hand Trucks or Hand/Rider Trucks

  • Class IV: Internal Combustion Engine Trucks

  • Class V: Internal Combustion Engine Trucks
