A Compact Commuter Cruiser
The original Guppy was designed as an easy-to-carry cruiser board for riders who wanted something smaller than a traditional longboard.
At 28 inches long and 8 inches wide, it offered enough deck space for comfortable cruising while remaining compact enough for everyday transportation.
That made the board particularly useful for short commutes, campus riding, trips along the beach or simply moving around town without carrying a much larger board.
The Guppy was designed around mobility. Its compact dimensions paired with soft 60mm wheels created a board intended to be practical both while riding and while carrying it.
The Original Guppy Setup
The Guppy came standard with 60mm Shark Wheel California Roll wheels, Origin trucks and a 100% Canadian maple deck.
The color-stained underside also gave riders space to personalize the deck with stickers or artwork, making the board both functional and customizable.
Although the original Guppy complete is part of Shark Wheel's earlier board lineup, the wheel configuration behind it remains highly relevant today.
